This is great and I've brought this to the attention of all of my clients. Do you mind if I share a link to this article in my newsletter and channel this week?
That's great to hear you found value here! Yes, please do, and if you have any specific questions from your clients that I can help with, don't hesitate to reach out.
Recently, I received some replies on my article that had a similar meaning. Like you, it also made me think a lot.
As a solo entrepreneur, I don’t have an AI policy with a lot of formal detail like you’ve outlined—but I realize I’ve been working with some unspoken rules too (now you’ve named it: AI Policy).
Thanks for a great article, very practical, realistic, and effective in a time when more people and companies are actively applying AI.
Yes! Thank you! I think for many orgs that have no guardrails or framework but a free for all, it will be close to impossible to manage and keep use safe
If I'm serious about helping business owners adopt AI responsibly, then guiding them in creating policies like this needs to be part of the work. Not just for their sake, but mine too. Leading by example means putting these guardrails in place within my own business first.
This piece gave me both the nudge and the clarity to start doing that. Grateful for the insight and structure you shared here.
This is a very important conversation to have! Not just for organizations -- I believe it's rather easy to come up with a personal AI Policy that governs how YOU use AI for all the things you do. This way, your AI use aligns with your mission, you can articulate the boundaries of your creative/strategic process, and ensure that you're only using AI in the best ways that serve you! Such an interesting read, definitely sparking a lot of ideas within me as well! :)
I have seen teams move so quickly to automate that they skip the real conversation about what “human touch” actually means for their work. Great reading.

Glad to hear that, Luan!
I love the reminder that ethical leadership with AI isn’t about slowing progress, but about slowing just enough to protect what matters most.
Thank you for making it so actionable!

That’s such a great point! We as writers are running our own business and equally need our governing rules. Great point!

Yes, so true! Thanks, William!
